Would you accept a trip offer to the moon? Starting in 2015, MissTravel.com will be organizing trips to space on the first luxury space shuttle. Brandon Wade, Founder & CEO of MissTravel.com is currently funding and developing the project, and will be hosting its maiden voyage. The proposed itinerary will take 30 passengers on a one week trajectory around the Earth’s Moon for a price of $350,000 for two seats. In the spirit of generosity, all seats will be sold in pairs, with fourteen attractive passengers flying for free, courtesy of their generous travel partners.
“I started MissTravel.com because I wanted to encourage and inspire new opportunities for travel,” says Wade. “But Earth is not the final frontier, and the development of private space travel has transformed the fantasy of space tourism into a near-reality, one that we want to be a part of.”
The luxury space shuttle will be ready for testing as early as January 2014, with tickets going on sale at the end of 2013. The inaugural trip is slated for October 2015, with hopes to be the first of many quarterly excursions.
