A little bit about myself:
Just a bloke who is well traveled, and an all around
good soul. I have an affinity for flavorful foods, a relaxed lifestyle, and individuals who are warm and practice patience with a degree of humility.
Generally, on travels I do enjoy the resort life, however when it comes to exploring I tend to prefer the unbeaten path or the road less traveled (by tourists). Activity wise I tend to be very impromptu, as opposed to have a well planned out itinerary (outside of flights and hotels). I enjoy having the flexibility of options, and truly don't believe in limiting the possibilities.
Recently returned from Canada, South East Asia, New York, and Switzerland. The list of countries I have visited to date is pretty extensive. Currently though I am in the process of planning several upcoming trips, which includes two return visits to Canada (Late summer/winter '13), Croatia/UK (July '13), and Sth East Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and Koh Samui: March 12th-April 21, '13). Would be nice to meet locals in each country/region.
Why I want to travel:
Why not? If you visited one country in your lifetime, it wouldn't be enough to see, and share a smile with the beautiful and warm people of this planet. Travel is truly an amazing way to learn so much, as you have a first hand perspective of both the bad and the good.
