A little bit about myself:
I am a woman who has dedicated myself to raising two beautiful children and caring for my elderly father and uncle. My children are independent and I am ready to fulfill my lifelong dream of traveling. I have traveled extensively in the past, but never made it to Europe! I'm a little bit of a nerd and would someday love to run across the Austrian hillside, singing songs from «The Sound of Music» in the style of Julie Andrews. :) I have been told I have a quirky personality and I don't suppose that is going to change. I am nurturing and love to spoil the special people in my life. I am a good cook and enjoy exotic/unusual cuisine. I love to wear my little black dress, but I am equally comfortable in jean shorts and a tank top. I have clicked all of the options as far as what I'm looking for in a partner (with the exception of seeing a married man — not for me) but if I'm being honest, I would someday like to find a special person and possibly re-marry. However, I don't want to miss out on a great guy because he simply is not in the same place. I am in no hurry and am willing to wait for the right chemistry.

Why I want to travel:
I am looking for a man who is genuine and kind. I value intelligence, but intelligence without these other character traits is not enough. Someone who is well rounded. Someone who is able to motivate and inspire me as I would love to do the same for them. I suppose I'm looking for many of the same qualities from you that I possess. I try to make the best of any situation and don't often get angry or upset over negative circumstances — pretty important when you travel. I am also looking for someone who is funny TO ME. :) I like silly, hokey and corny.
