A little bit about myself:
Love traveling and photography. Always have a good time. I have been to over 20 countries in Europe. I am looking to travel Asia and the Pacific Islands next.
In the past I have mostly traveled alone. However, when I do travel with someone I am very considerate and adaptable to what my travel partner wants to do. I able to walk around a big city all day or climb a mountain. On the other hand I also enjoy bumming on a beach all day in a tropical environment.
I always do an extensive amount of research on a destination before I go. I get educated on all the attractions, off-the-beaten-path activities, restaurants, hotels, crime, and tourist traps so that I can have a memorable yet safe trip.
I am also very knowledgeable on current events, foreign policies, and economies of many countries around the world. And I am very fluent in the pointy-talkie dialect. ;-)
As for my personality, I am laid back, trustworthy, thoughtful, and I take great pride in my self control.
As for alcohol, I absolutely have to try local wines, beer, vodkas, and scotches. On that note, I drink but I don't loose control.
I am also a photographer. (nothing published but studied and practiced for 10 years) If nothing else if you travel with me you will get some amazing photos.

Why I want to travel:
Looking for a travel companion to share memories with. Basically what I am looking for I someone to meet me at the destination and I would pay for the accommodations. I think this site is a great concept but I am a bit skeptical on giving a stranger money or plane tickets.
Meeting someone prior to a trip is a must. Skype or a local meet would be great.
Whether traveling with a friend or something that could possibly evolve to something more I have had a fantastic up bringing with strong values, morals, and respect.
