A little bit about myself:
I'm an avid traveller with more than 50 countries on 6 continents visited so far. I like to venture off the beaten path and are not particularly interested in typical touristy areas where things more or less feel like any spa back home. Some of the more exotic places I've been to include Svalbard near the north pole, Fiji and the Galapagos Islands in the pacific, East Timor and New Guinea in Asia and Ollyantaytambo up in the Andes in Peru, South America…
-That being said I also enjoy the big-city-life with all it has to offer on outstanding food, vibrant nightlife and interesting sights. Amongst the cities I've been to so far are New York, Tokyo, Beijing, Paris, Rome, London, Sydney, Singapore, Quito, Lima and many, many others. This year I'll have a weekend in London mid-november, and I will be in Australia around new years eve and the first weeks of January. Else I'm planning a trip to Antarctica a year and half from now so I can finally check out all 7 continents. Wanna come with me and see the penguins? :-D
Being the oldest of four brothers I'm good at looking after others, and good at making people feel safe. Travelling with me is never boring and might at some points perhaps be on the bit-too-exciting side for some. But I can promise stories to take back home, and you being in one piece when delivered at the doorstep. Being a man, part of the job is to look after the woman. After all, we were made a lot bigger physically for a reason, right?
I'm easygoing and witty, serious when needed, but the boyish elements never lurk too deep. I have my masters degree and a good job, but I think it's important to prioritize both work and play. If you're a shy person that's not a problem as I'm very easy to talk to. I'm all about living life to its fullest and never let an opportunity pass me by. It's better to try and fail, than never to have tried at all.
Having been around I have quite a few stories to tell, but as many of them would get rated R it's better to share those over a drink somewhere and not put them up on the very public Internet… hehe

Why I want to travel:
A cute and fun travelpartner to share my adventures. Traveling alone has it's positive sides, but with the right companion I think it could get even better! There are many locations around the world I've been saving for travels that would include a female friend.
