Oh the mandatory description… so much pressure to make a good impression!
Well, in a nutshell I'm a selfless, compassionate, family(and friend)-oriented individual who is passionate about life and who will try anything twice.
I guess I am ultimately looking for 'the one' but I'm also looking for good people to enjoy the summer with. Fun this summer is on the top of my list.
I have a beautiful daughter who is practically perfect in every way so my ideal mate ('the one') should be open to sharing his life with both of us. I know single moms aren't everyones cup of tea so I'd like to get that out in the open right off the bat. Besides… she is fabulously cool, very easy to deal with and surprisingly independent (for a 5yr old) and I consider her to be BIG added bonus to my 'package'.
I have a good relationship with her dad… No drama. We share custody and alternate weeks.
Being artistic and creative I need to find someone who can inspire and encourage me and someone who can satisfy my craving for adventure and excitement.
I have a lot of interests and hobbies and I'm a very big fan of the outdoors… fishing, camping, hiking, gold panning (currently my FAVOURITE past-time… it's incredibly calming and I know I'm on the verge of finding my record breaking nugget! whoo hoo! — I think I might have what's called 'Gold Fever', but trust me… come out panning with me and you'll get the fever too).
I'm not snobby, high maintenance or superficial. I'm very close to me family — my parents are incredible, my brothers are my best friends and my daughter is fabulous! I'm so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.
It's extremely important to me to find someone who LOVES life and does not stress the small stuff. I really love trying new things. I'm attracted to strong, stable manly men who know how to be a man — like a lumberjack… or hunter (I have my PAL — but I'm not into shooting anything alive). I also love hardcore business owners or inventive entrepreneurs.
I need a man that can handle and appreciate an 'unconventional' yet somewhat traditional woman — I've been told I'm the only girl in the world who can be seen pulling up an 80lb crab pot in a black lace dress. I'm a little different… but I've lived a very interesting life and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more open-minded, optimistic person.
