I'm From: Cincinnati, Ohio, USWill Show You Her Town Will Fly to Your Town Will Travel with You
Places I want to travel to:New York City, United States Maui, United States Rio de Janeiro, Brazil London, United Kingdom Paris, France Rome, Italy Amsterdam, Netherlands Beijing, China Dubai, United Arab Emirates Bali, Indonesia Sydney, Australia Las Vegas, United States Miami, United States
Is it at all possible there just might be a babyboomer-aged guy out there, who would actually enjoy the company of a woman his age? Am I unique? Yes, definitely! Fun, bright, bubbly, outgoing, funny, smart, and interesting would describe me well.
My values are mid-western, but my mentality and approach to life is not. In other words, unlike so many Cincinnati citizens, my politics and view of life are liberal, which I can explain at a later date.
My interests include, but certainly are not limited to: travel, of course, both long, fun weekends and long-distance/extensive trips; the arts--theatre, opera, museums, galleries, concerts; quality mainstream, but mostly foreign and indie films; enjoyment of fun, local events around town; good conversation re politics, global events, family, and life, in general.
If you would like a traveling companion and friend who is attractive (yes, I know, «for her age»), self-confident, warm, very aware of what is currently going on in the world, a great conversationalist, and who can share your enthusiasm and excitement for life, well, I would love to hear from you.
Please know that, while I am certainly not naive or «unsavy,» I am at the same time, a very kind, down-to-earth, and appreciative person, meaning that I do not, nor would ever, take a gentleman for granted. A description of--shallow, tacky, pretentious, glossy, or God forbid, bimbo--well, I'm afraid definitely does not apply to me (and never did), sooo, if you prefer very young «chick» with any of the above traits (I am certainly not interested in this type of male companion, whether he was «generous» or not — :))… sooo, a mature, secure, honest, fun, and intelligent man is the traveling companion who would appeal to me.
BTW, this site seemed to only allow me to mark one status for you, but single, widowed or perhaps separated would be fine, also.
Thanks and take care!
Cincinnati may be my home base, yet I am definitely not the typical Cincinnatian (many of whom have never traveled outside our city--what can I say). I've been to Europe a few times and lived for years, off and on, in South Florida, an area I love for its diversity and cosmopolitan flavor. San Fran, NYC, Chicago, Charleston, Savannah, and Key West are also cities I enjoy very much. Switzerland was a wonderment to me. What a beautiful country! Paris, Venice--ahhhh!
A trip to Italy to see the cities I've missed, especially Rome, Florence and the Reggio Calabria region (my roots) would be a really meaningful trip for me. Venice is one of the most romantic cities I've ever visited, as is Paris, of course! China and Russia could be very interesting. I've always dreamed of visiting the Hermitage. There are many islands I've yet to visit. Of course, there are also many wonderful cities in this country I have yet to visit.
