A little bit about myself:
I am an English teacher who loves to travel, but my friends and family all have to work when I get summers and holidays off. I studied abroad in London, England for six months in college and have backpacked through Europe several times (it's like a second home), in addition to traveling internationally quite a bit with my family. I am originally from Orange County and I'm a beach girl at heart who loves the mountains. I would love to go skiing and hit the international slopes… if you can keep up. :)
Why I want to travel:
I'm looking for an active traveler- someone who will shop, walk/ bike around, and wine and dine, who's not afraid to go local, spend the day in a museum or hike to find the best view. Someone who will also do research with me before the trip to feel less like a tourist (I own lots of Rick Steves books). I have become a pretty good packer (yet still tres chic) and only do carry on, the best places are hardly paved…
