A little bit about myself:

I'm a creative type who paints, writes, and tries to capture the beauty of the world and those in it by whatever means possible. I may not be «talented» on any professional skill scale, but I view the world from the eyes of someone who appreciates truth, beauty, and love. I notice details that others don't-- not only that, but I point them out! Traveling with me, you might see something that you hadn't noticed before, even if we are going to a destination you've visited many times before.

Others tell me it is «comfortable» being around me; I can't be sure, but I think that means I exude a sense of serenity to those surrounding me. I'm calm/un-agitated and take things as they come without much stress or frustration.

I'm great at delivering genuine, encouraging thoughts and comments; and once I get to know someone and have determined their strengths, I love pulling those out slowly and helping people see how beautiful they are in their own ways! I know that sounds campy, but it's one of the things I have learned about myself through my interactions with others.

I'm a very «open book» type who is honest and blunt, and because of that some people might be wary-- I'm not «mean» or «rude,» but I don't skirt around sensitive topics or close up at the first sign of discomfort. Perhaps this is my mini-disclaimer! ;) If you're seeking someone who isn't afraid to face life and all that it has to offer (good and bad!), I'm your girl. I'm not overly talkative but don't mistake my quiet nature for a weakness!

Why I want to travel:

I'm seeking a down-to-earth, adventure seeker like myself. I am not necessarily looking for any long-term commitment but I also understand if we hit it off, it might become something more :) I love air flight travel as well as driving/road tripping and don't have much experience traveling outside of the U.S. — yet! I joined this site looking primarily for new experiences through new places but also meeting many different kinds of people. I thrive on connection! I'm interested in both U.S. and world travel and am very open-minded about what may come!
