Will Show You Her Town Will Fly to Your Town Will Travel with You

A little bit about myself:

I am a very spontaneous person, and I like just going with the flow, meeting new people and seeing where the path leads me.

One of my main identities is as a lover and creator of documentary film, especially those with a social justice or human rights focus. I would be delighted to show my films to you because they say a lot about who I am. My first film was about rural Haiti, and I can share a link to it if you would like. I fell in love with Haiti quickly, and learned Haitian Creole in no time, because of my French background. My travel in Haiti also instilled a love for visiting new and sometimes extreme and different places. My languages help in that endeavor. I am half French, and fluent, also speak Spanish and Haitian Creole. I am always down for an adventure.

I am also athletic (I like to run, swim and bike- and yes I am committed to doing an IronMan by the time I am 30) so I would love someone who enjoys (literally) running around and moving their body. I have gotten into yoga in the last 5 months, and that has proven to be a very fruitful path of growth.

As a result, I consider myself «spiritual» rather than religious. I grew up Jewish and had a bat mitzvah, but I see myself more as culturally so, enjoying the values found in the celebrations of Passover and other such traditions. I love tradition and ritual, and taking time to appreciate special moments, and in fact just the joy in every moment of being alive. Deep breaths are always good :)

I enjoy cooking and eating healthy food- especially things with quinoa in them! (See my picture with the quinoa breakfast I make every day).

I am all about community and am blessed to have two strong communities in my life here in San Francisco — my Burning Man village, and my Open Relationship community. I have considered myself a burner in spirit long before I ever went to Burning Man, and I love the values of freedom, expression and exploration that it represents.

I also consider myself poly or non-monogamous and I enjoy the possibilities of romantic or sensual relationships that involve more than two people. I am a naturally loving and affectionate person, and I hope to find folks who are that way too. Poly or non-monogamous is truly one of my main identities. As a result, I consider myself as part of the queer or LGBT community, and am very supportive of LGBT causes (and have explored bisexual and lesbian relationships a little bit myself.)

Why I want to travel:

I am a very open minded person. I am open to exploration of developing countries and understanding their struggles (which I have done in depth in Haiti) and also going on blissful indulgent romantic escapes.

I am looking for someone who is a free spirit, and considers themselves creative (in any you interpret that- musical, visual artist, etc...) I love dancing, I salsa dance and also do a lot of (hula) hoop dancing. I would love to spend time with someone who would dance the night away with me. I enjoy a variety of music styles (everything from salsa, to reggae, to dubstep, to tribal, conscious hip hop, electronic, and everything in between.) I guess what I'm saying is I am open minded, and I would appreciate someone who is too.

I am especially interested in bisexual men, because I've had wonderful experiences with them in the past, but that is by no means a requirement.

I am obsessed with documentary film (and by extension photography, and documenting my experiences) so I would love to be with someone who is comfortable being on both sides of the camera. Taking pictures is one way I express love, and I can show you some links to my work that I've made for dear friends birthdays and weddings if you're interested.

These are all things that I love, but you don't have to fit all of them. I am just putting this intention and desire out into the universe, and can't wait to see where it goes.
