A little bit about myself:
Well, let's start with the basics: My name is Katie, I'm 21 years old. I was bitten by the travel bug at 7 months when my family drove from Louisiana to Maine. I've never wanted to stop exploring since then. Life is just a chance to grow a soul, and there is no better way than travel to gain experiences and a clear outlook on life.
I don't take long to pack, I save that until the night before the trip. Usually I'm so hyped and excited I can't sleep the night before a trip, so I have to use that time somehow!
I'm real laid-back, easy going. I have a brain full of jokes, I enjoy making people laugh. I'm not afraid of silence, but when it's awkward, I can fill it with an interesting fact about something completely random....like did you know that Angel Falls is 3,212 feet tall? I honestly couldn't choose a destination, every place I research looks amazing. I can be the «go with the flow» traveler and just wander aimlessly and discover things off the beaten path...hike up a random rock, pull over to the side of the road and start walking....Or I can be the zealous planner! I will research the town, the activities, the recommended places to visit, the areas to explore. And of course there's always the happy medium. I can adjust to people and what they like without changing who I am. I'm just fun to be around, I constantly ooze energy and happiness. I'm fun-loving, but not intense, I know when to relax and when to get amped up. I feed off the energies of people, I am definitely an extrovert, but I have introverted friends and they like me around.

Why I want to travel:
I am looking to travel. But that's obvious, isn't it? You can be a friend, a confidant, a lover, a mentor, a man, a woman, old or young. I love people. Meeting, traveling, and having fun. That's what I'm looking for.
I'll travel anywhere I haven't been to before, and even some places I've already visited. Staying inside the U.S. is fine, but I have a passport with only two stamps in it, so let's fill up those pages before it expires in 9 years!
