Born and raised in the Midwest, I decide to move to the East Coast after college and love it here! I work for myself and enjoy the freedom and flexibility of choosing the projects I take on and when I can take time off.
I enjoy staying active and am finished my SCUBA certification in June. I have two dogs and we frequent dog parks in the area. I like hanging out with my friends and hosting events to meet new people. I have been involved with a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teens for over 10 years and am now on the Corporate Board to further help out. I'm a sports fan and like watching games with other fans- particularly Iowa Hawkeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers & Penguins, and NY Yankees. I also love going to shows- whether they be theatre performances or concerts.
Why I want to travel:
While I love to travel, I prefer to share travel experiences with someone else. I have traveled many places in the continental United States, as well as a little bit abroad- Japan, Korea, Mexico & Canada. I would love to expand my travel list as much as possible, preferably with some good company! My top three places I want to visit are Thailand, Greece and the Galapagos Islands (I'm a bit of a biology nerd), though I'm open to visiting most anywhere.
