A little bit about myself:
Finally made it to Denver and am living in Thornton. I'm not familiar with the town at all other than the airport so I'm looking for both friends and dates to help me learn the town. Other than that I'm a typical college grad, got the degree and then got a decent job where the degree was something nice but not necessary. I just got back from Afghanistan in July. Overseas I started out as medical supply sergeant and was moved to medical operations planning, so that was a little different but overall a pretty good experience. At least I got to live in a container that looked like somebody's basement instead of a plywood shack.
I like most types of music and going to see live bands. When I can I go to farmers markets and get fresh ingrediants for meals and things like salsa. When I have free time I like to start the day sitting in a coffee shop and then doing something unplanned. I'm really looking forward to exploring Denver and the countryside. I like going out with the ISU Alumni here in town and watching football, especially since Coach Rhoads has really brought the program along. It'll be strange to go back to Ames and see people wanting to go to the game instead of just tailgating.
I guess the last thing is someday I want to see the UK, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand to name a few places of the long list.
