A little bit about myself:
I've spent most of my young adult life traveling. I've been to 40 different countries, and my passion is immersing myself in culture. I've lived in three countries outside my own, and I speak several languages.
Every day I'm drawn into the world around me. It could be a simple thing, like a walk home on a pleasant evening, and being able to exchange conversation with total strangers.
When I travel, I always try to spend my time wading into real life in a place. I like to live in a culture because when you do, you not only absorb the culture, but it absorbs you too, and it becomes part of your soul.
I travel frequently to Europe and the Far East, and I plan to start spending more time in Latin America in the near future.

I enjoy luxury as much as the next guy, but I prefer a travel companion who also has an appreciation for the simple pleasures of getting acquainted with the real way of life in the places we visit.
I'm looking for a genuine human connection, not a transaction. If I'm coming to your town for business and you're not interested in meeting, then don't hold your breath for me to invite you on my next trip to Tokyo. If you're in Europe and I suggest a weekend at a beach on the Baltic, but you'd prefer the Mediterranean, then let's talk about it. But if you tell me that you're «only interested in more exotic destinations,» then this tells me that you're only interested in my wallet.
