A little bit about myself:
My name is Natalia, and I'm a born-and bred New York City girl. I've done a fair share of travel on my own, as not only do I love to explore new things, but I also speak many different languages and, up until recently, have had the good fortune of being able to fly for almost free. I LOVE culture, history, art, FOOD FOOD FOOD, and, although I live in the best city in the world, I feel as though the world has more to offer me. I can say with all due modesty that I'm an incredibly good travel companion. My ability with languages certainly helps, as does the fact that I ALWAYS do my homework before navigating through a place. You will never find me at a tourist trap overpaying for pointless things. I'd rather save my funds and deliciate the experience of fine dining, private boutiques and art galleries that the locals frequent. I'm also very independent, so while a travel companion is always welcome, I would have no problem doing my own thing while he or she does theirs on certain days, and then reuniting over an amazing dinner and a bottle of wine to tell each other of our frolics!: )
Why I want to travel:
I am looking for someone with perhaps a bit more fiscal flexibility, or maybe some frequent flyer miles with which they wouldn't mind parting, to travel with me. In the next few months, I'm planning to travel around Europe. For example, I'm supposed to be meeting my friend in Madrid next week, June 13th. I am able to do this with ir without anyone's help. However, if someone would be able to help me with the cost of airfare, for example, it would be a huge burden off my chest, and would allow me more flexibility in regards to my itinerary once I'm there. I'm intending to stay in Europe for a bit, and write, and possibly work at a hostel or teaching languages, so it would be pretty awesome if someone were to want to take me on weekend excursions away from Madrid. I'm yet to see Italy, for example.; )
