A little bit about myself:
While attempting to fill this in I kept thinking of the phrase «Be the person your dog thinks you are», so I'll fill this in from my dogs perspective. I am exceptional! The sun and the stars! A terrific caregiver, companion and friend. A great hiking buddy and partner in crime who loves to explore. Always up for an adventure but still appreciates a nice relaxing fire to warm my body. Sometimes I don't like to go outside in the rain but with the right shoes sometimes I can't wait to get out and splash in the puddles. Always loving, always loyal, forever patient and protective, yet strong and tough when the situation calls for it.
In all seriousness, while I attempt to be as splendid as my dog thinks I am, nobody's perfect but I try every day to be better than the day before. I have spent many years traveling around and I miss going to new places and exploring cities and cultures and new languages. I moved to NYC when I was 17, then moved to Paris on a whim at 19 and spent one glorious year there. I have lived in Los Angeles and multiple provinces all over Canada where I currently reside.
I modeled professionally for 10 years and I'm currently starting a career as a photographer. You could say that I'm a fairly polished traveller.
I have a long list of the qualities and traits that I wish for in a partner but I came to terms with the fact that I had to BE all of these traits as well or I have no right to ask for these things so I work at being strong, loyal, committed, loving, attentive, intelligent, thoughtful, considerate, happy, honest, witty, passionate, joyful, respectful and brave. These are all traits that I bring to the table and I am looking for a counterpart who is all of these things and more.
Why I want to travel:
The world is a wonderful, mysterious and gorgeous place. Not only is there so much to see and do, so many cultures to experience but there are also so many people to meet.
I want to travel to Donegal where they're famous for their tweed and where my ancestors fought for their land as well as their lager.
I want to see with my own eyes where the Pharaohs sat and gazed upon their kingdoms and see the mummies of ancient cats one of whom may be the direct ancestor of my childhood cat Tubbs. I mean… THE HISTORY! hahahaa.
I want to float in the dead sea and stare up at the sky while pondering the historical significance of the Jordan River.
I want to experience a walkabout in the Australian bush and hold a Koala. And a Kangaroo. And a Tasmanian Pademelon if they'll let me.
I want to see the world! I want to eat its food and meet its people and put my toes in the water of each of the oceans. Well, maybe not the Arctic as my feet are cold enough as it is.
And when it comes down to it I want someone to do all of this with. A fun partner who is exited about life and always up for an adventure.
