A little bit about myself:

I am a hopeless romantic, sensitive, articulate, and artistic. I am affectionate and believe in kindness and concern for the people in my life.

I cook almost everything with wine — even breakfast! I like to bake breads and desserts, French puff pastry, baguettes and French bread, German and French desserts, as well as some excellent French and Italian recipes that have received very good reviews.

I love silk sheets and breakfast in bed...with champagne, strawberries, and the right person. A memorable kiss will fix almost anything...and if not, a dozen roses are a sure cure in many cases. I love men who are romantic, funny, well-dressed, intelligent, charming, sophisticated and brilliant.

I believe that it is best to focus on one relationship at a time, so I am not looking for a lot of people to date. I would like to find someone who treats me well, appreciates me, and is sensitive to my needs. Needs are many things...not just one thing.

I am a writer and editor; I make artisan jewelry; dabble in graphic design; I am a wonderful cook and baker, according to my fans. I am a seamstress and costumer, and I really enjoyed sewing for a small theatre company several years ago. I have some experience in French Hand Sewing, and I am accomplished in embellishments of beading and sequinning laces, satins and fabrics that are beautiful enough for a wedding gown or the royal garments of King Henry VIII.

My taste in music is Mozart and Beethoven at the first light of dawn; New Age or Celtic mid-morning, especially making Quiche Lorraine, New York Cheesecake, or a really good apple pie — if you haven't had my apple pie or cinnamon rolls, you are missing something special! Afternoon and evening music is anyone's guess. I love driving down the road to see something natural with the windows open and listening to some great music. I listen to NPR a lot and have learned many things about the world around me.

If something magical happens with a special person, I can always reconsider my options… including the possibility of moving closer. Everything is on the table. My goals and aspirations are not set in stone--change is good!

Every morning is another opportunity to learn something new, fix any mistakes you can, discover a fascinating fact, accomplish something positive, make a difference in someone else's life, and forgive those who have hurt you… Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself.

I love surprises of all kinds..one of a kind....the unexpected...the romantic...the amazing...the incredible..the once in a lifetime...and the heart-fluttering kind, as well. I would love to travel, whether it is by ferry down the river, by car to see the Grand Canyon, by ship across the Atlantic, or by plane to see some place exciting.

I have a dream of opening a bakery.

I also would love to sail the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Mary II in the spring or summer, headed for Southampton, England; then travel by train to the land of my ancestors in Scotland. It would be the perfect trip with someone very special....is it you?
