A little bit about myself:
A friend told me about this site and I checked it out but decided it wasn't the sort of thing for me but she kept pushing because she disagrees, so here I am. We'll see how it goes! I am a single mom of a teenager who recently went to live with his dad so I have a lot of free time aside from work and feel like after being a single mom for so long it's time to get out and start seeing the world.
Why I want to travel:
I've never really been anywhere that I couldn't technically drive to except Liberty & Ellis Island. I suppose that doesn't REALLY count. I am going to Jamaica alone for my first trip in August so I am very excited about that. There isn't really any travel destination that I can think of that I wouldn't love to check out some day but I've always dreamed of Ireland & Scotland to tour the castles and beautiful countryside.
