Full of excitement and intrigue, I'm looking to explore outside the US at long last. I've been studying psychology, philosophy, religion, and science the past 8 months. Time for a well deserved break!
As a young lady who has been in the Navy as an airplane mechanic, completed massage therapy school, ran a cafe in Colorado, attended a Buddhist college, and jumped into photojournalism in the midst of it all, I am not someone who just says I want to see and experience new things--I actively seek them out. Why I want to travel:
The place I really have my eyes on right now is East Timor, right off the coast of Darwin, Australia. One of the youngest countries in the world, its going through its second ever election right now. Its a tiny little place that most people don't even know exists, and I want to go there and just explore, find out more about it.
YOU are a person that doesn't need a five star resort to stay in, someone who wants to explore back roads and share meals with the locals. That said, the resort bit can be very welcome after a week or so «roughing it» ;) Maybe you have a secret adventurous side but you are looking for someone a bit bold and outgoing to take the reins in navigating and really bring that side out in you. Looking for someone I can combine compassion and chaos theory with!
You want to go to Morocco? I'll make sure we take camels out to a caravan in the middle of the desert, stay up all evening singing and dancing like fools til we collapse in a fit of laughter, ravished by the night, and stare at the stars until morning.
