A little bit about myself:

Originally I come from the cool Nordic countries, but at the moment I study languages in fantastic London! And I love it here! I speak four languages fluently, but I want to learn a fifth: Italian. Culture is my main interest, and I love to go to the opera, the ballet, the theatre, to various concerts and art museums.
Music wise I prefer opera; I listen to it every day, it is my drug. However I listen to Deep Purple, Madonna, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Rammstein, Muse, Carlos Gardel (I would love to learn Argentinian tango!), Motor… but I am more passionate about Mozart, Wagner, Verdi, Gounod, Donizetti, Puccini, Bellini, Vivaldi, Monteverdi, Tchaikovsky, as well as Schubert and Schumann (Die Schöne Müllerin and Dichterliebe are gorgeous!), Sibelius, Chopin, Beethoven… I am not too fond of jazz, though I enjoy listening to Ella and Billie. My favourite artists are Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Dalí, W. Turner, Rembrant, Vermeer, Klimt; Charles Garnier, Antoni Gaudi…
I enjoy a glass of red wine with excellent food or a glass of champagne with oysters… Mmmmh!
My absolute favourite destination has always been Italy; I LOVE its culture, cuisine, art and opera! I have never been to South America, Bahamas, Thailand, Japan or another exotic destination, but I am open to experience them with the right travel partner. However my dream is to visit Venice during carnival, Bayreuth, Zermatt and Berchtesgaden in the summer, and one day New York, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, and the sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica. :-)
Why I want to travel:
I love to travel! I am looking for someone who shares some my interests and is like me: kind, open minded, compassionate, relaxing and fun to be around with, always has a positive outlook on life and a sense of humour! I love to laugh and make other laugh. ;-)
But most importantly, I am looking for a gentleman.
I love the sun and swimming in the sea, but I am definitely more into culture and sightseeing. I don't need to or expect to stay in five star hotels, but I will require my own hotel room — absolutely no exceptions.
I would not be comfortable in sharing the same room with a person I do not know well. And those of you who might think to invite me to an all-expences paid holiday with an expected «hidden agenda» are reading the wrong profile.
I am looking for a friendly travel partner, but if there is mutual chemistry, who knows! Life is full of surprises. :-)
