A little bit about myself:
I love to explore, hands-down my favorite thing in life. Romance is probably number two, so being able to travel with someone I'm interested makes exploration all the more exciting. I love trying new things, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures, not only the painted-over tourist version of a foreign country. I’m extremely active (college track athlete), and will probably drag you swimming and hiking more than you want, especially if we go somewhere tropical. Still, I'm willing to laze around the beach from time to time or spend a day in one museum or another. My philosophy in life is experience as much as you can (along with carpe diem). I would describe myself as out-going, adaptable, compassionate, intelligent, open-minded, and (probably my best trait) spontaneous. Overall, this makes me a pretty amazing travel companion.

Why I want to travel:
As much as I want to meet the right guy and fall in love, I'm going to have fun on the way there. I'm willing to kiss my share of frogs before finding my Mr. Right. And being able to travel with someone from the very beginning will give me the idea of what this is. I'm looking for someone with a sense of adventure, willing to do more than lie around on the beach and relax. I love stepping outside of the tourist world with picture-perfect condos and babes in bikinis, exploring a country’s true native culture. Having someone willing to do the same is what makes a unique and unforgettable experience. I prefer not to stick to a schedule but do things on a whim. Still, I need a rock, someone who knows when enough is enough and it’s time to just kick back and watch the sunset. After all, I can’t just keep going and going and going, as much as I want to. Having a seasoned traveler is comforting, being as young as I am and having travelled out of the country very few times. Overall, I’m looking for someone a little more mature than myself, but who still has a youthful side to them.
