A little bit about myself:

I am seeking the next adventure and am addicted to staying abroad. Of course, I'm bored by tourist traps and am seduced by obstacles — so propose some to me.

I recently quit my lucrative job because I'm tired of sitting behind desks. In the long-term I dream of becoming a travel writer, in the short-term I'll pursue a Master's in Anthropology because I never get tired of learning about humanity.

First the past year I have lived in Amsterdam, but am moving to Haiti this summer for volunteer work (this is my third time in Haiti). As you can imagine, volunteering in the poorest nation of the Western Hemisphere does not pay the bills...hence my presence on this website.

I have lived and traveled in both the Northern and Southern coasts of Africa, almost all of Western Europe, the Caribbean and the US. I love to hike and 'rough-it' but can appreciate luxury as well--I'm a flexible traveler.

I tap dance, love to practice yoga and want to learn the banjo.

I'm a big reader of non-fiction and of Buddhist texts.

To me, money and age are just numbers. Just because they matter to society does not mean the mean anything to me.

Why I want to travel:

Anyone passionate about life. Anyone who can teach me something about life and travel. Ideally, someone who believes in my progressive values and views travel as an ever-changing learning experience.

I enjoy the company of unique people and tend to find comradery in seemingly unexpected places.
